Quality Assurance Technician

About the role

The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring that product builds meet all specifications, customer expectations, and quality system standards. Working primarily in a clean‑room environment with ESD protection, the role involves independent inspections, audits, and coordination of product returns for corrective action.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct random, scheduled and unscheduled audits to verify conformance to customer specifications, technical drawings, and company procedures.
• Perform root‑cause analyses on material returns, reviewing documentation and interviewing staff to identify defects or process breakdowns.
• Maintain logs and data on quality metrics, returned material, supplier performance, and non‑conformances for trend analysis.
• Prepare and submit product return documentation to suppliers and monitor corrective‑action responses.
• Assist in developing and maintaining ISO system documentation, including work instructions and departmental policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and meet attendance and punctuality standards.

Required profile

• 1 to 3 years of relevant quality assurance or inspection experience.
• High school graduate; electronics/IT hardware field of study preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle moderate loss of time due to errors.
• Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and effective interaction with all management levels.
• Capability to work under stress and meet deadlines in a clean‑room environment.

• Basic data entry and mathematical calculation skills
