Quality Lead

About the role

HyperLight is seeking a Quality Lead to shape and execute its global quality strategy across manufacturing, new product introduction, and supplier management. You will ensure the highest standards of product quality, process excellence, and regulatory compliance for our cutting‑edge thin‑film lithium niobate photonics platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and drive the Quality Management System (QMS) strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 270001, TL9000 and other relevant certifications.
• Define, monitor, and report key quality KPIs to senior leadership.
• Lead internal and supplier audits, manage corrective actions, and sustain certifications.
• Oversee supplier quality programs and collaborate with procurement on vendor assessments.
• Implement robust product assurance and testing processes to meet specifications.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives across all operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading quality functions in a high‑tech manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards and industry‑specific certifications.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills to influence cross‑functional teams.
