Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

The Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer will design, implement and maintain enterprise‑grade on‑premises and cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance and security in a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and administer cloud, server, storage and virtualization platforms.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability and capacity.
• Implement and support hybrid cloud solutions.
• Administer core AWS services such as Red Hat OpenShift, S3, VPC, Transfer Family, Network Firewall, Direct Connect, Load Balancers, Route 53, Lambda and Grafana.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and provide L2/L3 support.
• Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, patching, backup and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Maintain documentation, diagrams and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor and execute batch jobs and file transfers.
• Ensure compliance with internal security policies and regulatory requirements, supporting audits and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in IT infrastructure or a similar technical role.
• Relevant AWS cloud certifications.

Required skills

• AWS services (S3, VPC, Direct Connect, Load Balancers, Route 53, Lambda, Network Firewall, Transfer Family).
• Red Hat OpenShift.
• Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Virtualisation technologies.
• Cloud and hybrid infrastructure design.
• Backup and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Infrastructure monitoring and performance tuning.
• Grafana for observability.
