Senior Manager – Applications (IT)

About the role

The Senior Manager (Applications) leads the delivery and ongoing support of IT applications, ensuring they meet business needs while adhering to strong governance standards. Reporting to the Head of Application Services, this role oversees project execution, vendor relationships, and budget management.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver IT application projects from definition through closure, including outsourcing, enhancements, and maintenance.
• Communicate project expectations clearly to team members and stakeholders.
• Manage vendor performance to meet service level agreements and project timelines.
• Prepare and monitor budget proposals, track expenditures, and report on financial performance.
• Define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with sponsors.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.
• Lead integration testing and user acceptance testing, resolving defects as they arise.
• Oversee maintenance, upgrades, and integration of IT systems.
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements and resolve any findings.
• Establish and report key performance metrics, governance frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Support digital transformation initiatives and evaluate technology investments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
