About the role
We are seeking a senior professional to lead career development and transition initiatives for public service officers. Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will join the Workforce Development cluster and help shape innovative policies, programmes and coaching services that boost employability and support smooth career moves.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement forward‑looking policies, programmes and events that provide high‑quality career coaching and development for public service staff.
- Plan and organise career‑development workshops, seminars and networking events, ensuring accessibility and impact.
- Partner with the Communications Cluster to craft branding, outreach and communication strategies.
- Maintain and enhance the Public Service Career Coach Network (PSCCN) database, generate performance dashboards and reports, and coordinate professional‑development activities for coaches such as peer‑sharing sessions and workshops.
- Explore and recommend technology solutions that increase adoption and participation in career‑coaching services.
Required profile
- Self‑motivated individual with high integrity, teamwork orientation and a commitment to excellent service.
- Proven ability to develop and facilitate career‑development frameworks, reskilling initiatives and transition programmes.
- Strong stakeholder‑engagement skills, capable of influencing and mobilising partners toward shared objectives.
- Empathetic approach to serving public officers, with resilience in challenging situations.
