Senior Manager, Export Control & Sanctions Investigations (Greater India, EAP)

About the role

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Manager to lead export control and sanctions investigations across the Greater India, East Asia and Pacific region. You will ensure the region remains audit‑ready, assess regulatory risks, and deliver clear investigation outcomes that support timely remediation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end export control and sanctions investigations, including internal matters and external inquiries.
• Conduct fact‑finding through document review, data analysis and interviews to determine scope, root cause and regulatory exposure.
• Assess potential violations under regional, U.S., EU, UK and UN regimes and produce defensible reports, risk analyses and executive briefings.
• Provide subject‑matter guidance to regional and global stakeholders and support investigations in other zones as needed.
• Enhance investigation methodologies, tools, templates and dashboards in line with the global compliance framework.
• Develop periodic KPI, metric and trend reports for leadership and represent the global investigations team with zone leaders.
• Support internal and external audits with investigative expertise and maintain up‑to‑date regulatory knowledge.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10–15 years of experience in export control, sanctions compliance and investigations.
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross‑border regulatory matters.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
