About the role

The School of Humanities at Nanyang Technological University invites applications for a Visiting Professor in English. The successful candidate will specialise in contemporary literature, focusing on literary representations of posthuman care in recent fiction.

Key responsibilities

  • Teach one undergraduate or graduate course within the English Programme.
  • Contribute actively to the research culture of the English department and the broader School of Humanities.
  • Engage in scholarly activities, including publishing research and presenting at conferences.
  • Collaborate with faculty on interdisciplinary projects related to health, digital, and environmental humanities.

Required profile

  • PhD in English, Comparative Literature, or a related humanities field.
  • Strong expertise in contemporary literature and posthumanism.
  • Distinguished record of research publications.
  • Relevant university‑level teaching experience.
