About the role
The School of Humanities at Nanyang Technological University invites applications for a Visiting Professor in English. The successful candidate will specialise in contemporary literature, focusing on literary representations of posthuman care in recent fiction.
Key responsibilities
- Teach one undergraduate or graduate course within the English Programme.
- Contribute actively to the research culture of the English department and the broader School of Humanities.
- Engage in scholarly activities, including publishing research and presenting at conferences.
- Collaborate with faculty on interdisciplinary projects related to health, digital, and environmental humanities.
Required profile
- PhD in English, Comparative Literature, or a related humanities field.
- Strong expertise in contemporary literature and posthumanism.
- Distinguished record of research publications.
- Relevant university‑level teaching experience.
