Academic Tutor – Small Group STEM Classes

About the role

HYCO Education is seeking enthusiastic Academic Tutors to deliver high‑quality, small‑group tuition in STEM subjects. You will work with up to six students per class, creating engaging lessons that help learners think critically rather than simply memorise.

Key responsibilities

• Teach small‑group tuition classes (maximum 6 students) in Math, Science and/or English.
• Prepare and deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Track student progress, provide constructive feedback, and communicate results to parents.
• Build positive relationships with students and their families.
• Participate in tutor training sessions and ongoing professional development.

Required profile

• Undergraduate, recent graduate or postgraduate from a recognised university.
• Strong academic background in Math, Science and/or English.
• Enthusiastic, driven and comfortable taking ownership of tasks.
• Enjoy learning, improving teaching craft and contributing beyond the classroom.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative, high‑performance environment.
