Accountant – Group Consolidation & Reporting

About the role

This position works closely with the Finance Manager and provides essential support for day‑to‑day finance operations, reporting and group consolidation within a Singapore‑based organization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full sets of accounts, including general ledger, bank reconciliations, fixed assets register and statutory financial reports.
• Prepare and manage monthly group consolidation, intercompany reconciliations and consolidation journals.
• Collaborate with the junior accountant to deliver monthly reporting and consolidation deliverables.
• Review overseas monthly financial reports and liaise with counterparts, including China.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting and related consolidation schedules.
• Ensure all bank matters are diligently attended.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretary and government departments.
• Prepare quarterly GST reporting and corporate tax computation.
• Maintain and utilise Sage accounting system for reporting, consolidation and record‑keeping.
• Apply Financial Reporting Standard (FRS 116) and perform ad‑hoc tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Finance/Accountancy or CA(S), ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience handling full sets of accounts and group consolidation.
• Hands‑on experience with Sage accounting systems (preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Initiative, ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines with a strong sense of responsibility.

• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Singapore citizen or PR.
