Accountant

About the role
We are looking for an Accountant to join Esco Aster’s Finance team in Singapore. You will support day‑to‑day finance operations, ensuring accurate processing of transactions and timely reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and process accounting transactions for customers and vendors.
- Submit vendor payments for approval and reconcile accounts payable and other balance‑sheet accounts.
- Monitor payable and petty‑cash activities.
- Collaborate with Sales to post orders and follow up on customer payments.
- Work with Procurement to review open purchase orders and pre‑payment schedules.
- Produce monthly AR/AP reports and management accounts, including consolidation reports.
- Conduct stock counts and record inventory accounting transactions.
- Liaise with external auditors for annual audits and periodic reporting.
- Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and ad‑hoc finance duties.
Required profile
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical abilities.
- Proactive, flexible, reliable and self‑motivated.
