Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Accountant to manage the day‑to‑day financial administration of a portfolio of smaller contracts and entities within our marine and oil & gas operations. You will ensure accurate monthly closings, provide reliable management information and support the broader finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger entries, perform monthly closing and intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare balance sheets, monthly financial statements, management reports, budgets and forecasts.
• Handle tax filings, annual financial statements, audit participation and fixed‑asset valuation/depreciation.
• Support accounts payable by processing invoices, monitoring approvals and reconciling vendor statements.
• Maintain ERP financial master data and contribute to finance‑process improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accountancy or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience handling multiple contracts or entities, preferably in the marine or oil & gas industry.
• Professional attitude with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong teamwork skills.
