Accountant – Manufacturing, Reporting & Inventory

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to support financial accounting, reporting and inventory management for a manufacturing entity. The role involves month‑end closing, compliance with IFRS, and providing finance support to an overseas branch while participating in regional finance projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly closing, prepare SAP segment reporting, related‑party, audit and tax schedules, and notes to the financial statements.
• Prepare inventory forecasts, perform monthly inventory reconciliation, review provisions, stock write‑offs and monitor slow‑moving inventory.
• Execute balance‑sheet reconciliations, prepare audit schedules, loan schedules, withholding tax filings and GST submissions.
• Assist the overseas (Myanmar) branch with annual closing, local tax filings and regulatory compliance.
• Support J‑SOX compliance, internal control documentation, government submissions and SAP S/4HANA user acceptance testing.
• Participate in finance‑related process improvement and system enhancement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial accounting, reporting or general ledger functions.
• Hands‑on experience with month‑end closing, balance‑sheet reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles; experience with audit, tax and compliance matters.
• Experience in inventory accounting and stock reconciliation is preferred.
