Accounting Officer

About the role

The Accounting Officer will be responsible for managing the full set of accounts for the company, ensuring accurate month‑end closing, billing, and cash‑flow management. This role works closely with the group treasury and external auditors to maintain compliance and support financial decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Handle full‑set accounting, including month‑end closing and schedule preparation.
• Prepare customer billing and verify vendor invoices before processing payments.
• Record intercompany transactions and issue invoices to the group company.
• Create journal entries and data postings.
• Prepare and submit GST and profit tax returns.
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash‑flow.
• Follow up on receivable collections and update customer account information.
• Support group treasury initiatives such as bank account changes and cash‑pooling arrangements.
• Liaise with external auditors and local regulatory authorities.
• Undertake ad‑hoc projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• 3‑5 years of accounting experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle accounting system (preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Proactive, solution‑focused mindset.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Independent, self‑motivated, and a collaborative team player.
