Accounts Payable Manager – APAC

About the role

Netflix is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead its APAC Accounts Payable team based in Singapore. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end invoice processing, payments, and strategic improvement across multiple APAC countries while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the APAC Accounts Payable function, covering invoice processing, dispute resolution, and payments for 8‑10 countries.
• Own the APAC Payments process, defining best practices, standards, and controls in partnership with Treasury, FinTech, and Internal Audit.
• Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop a high‑performing AP team, handling goal setting, performance management, and career development.
• Safeguard company assets by preventing fraud and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to build scalable, efficient workflows.
• Drive adoption of technology advancements that support scaling and transformation of the AP organization.
• Collaborate closely with regional AP leaders and cross‑functional partners in Procurement, Supplier Management, and Supplier Diversity to align on strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading an Accounts Payable function in a multi‑country environment.
• Strong people‑management skills, including hiring, coaching, and performance development.
• Deep understanding of payment processes, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance.
• Track record of delivering process automation and efficiency improvements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to work cross‑functionally.
