Assistant Manager – Marketing Communications

About the role

The Assistant Manager Marketing Communications supports the Director of Marketing Communications in shaping and executing communication strategies for Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford. The role focuses on campaign management, public relations, media relations, influencer engagement and lifestyle storytelling across the hotels' diverse portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain communications and media calendars for assigned revenue streams and lifestyle portfolios.
• Create public‑relations angles, media materials, influencer briefs and content narratives to secure coverage across local, regional and international channels.
• Design media plans that align with brand positioning and campaign objectives.
• Review and approve press releases, media pitches, social copy, sales decks, ad copy and other communication assets for accuracy and brand consistency.
• Lead awards submissions, manage voting processes and amplify post‑award results.
• Identify and negotiate partnership opportunities with luxury, F&B, wellness and cultural brands to enhance guest experiences.
• Oversee lifestyle‑focused PR portfolios, including F&B venues, spa, wellness programmes, festive campaigns and IP‑led collaborations.
• Coordinate media, blogger, content creator and influencer hosting to drive brand visibility.

Required profile

• Proven experience in marketing communications, campaign management and public relations within the hospitality or lifestyle sector.
• Strong ability to develop strategic communication plans and media calendars.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for brand tone and consistency.
• Leadership capability to support and manage a small communications team.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with media, influencers and partner brands.
