Assistant Planning Manager / Planning Manager

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Assistant Planning Manager or Planning Manager to lead the development and monitoring of project schedules for large‑scale civil and building projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure that design, construction, and subcontractor activities align with the master programme.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive tender and baseline programmes, manpower, resources, and equipment charts.
• Collaborate with the project team to define start‑up plans, key milestones, and execution strategies, including narrative write‑ups.
• Generate S‑Curves, KPIs, and dashboards for effective progress monitoring.
• Prepare scope appreciation presentations with milestone targets for project initiation.
• Track design schedules against the master programme and provide regular updates.
• Maintain and update target and micro programmes on a monthly basis.
• Monitor construction progress and produce weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Recommend improvements to planning and scheduling systems based on industry best practices.
• Oversee planning of architectural, structural, and MEP works, ensuring compliance with standards and drawings.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognised by Singapore’s Professional Engineers Board (PEB) or Building and Construction Authority (BCA).
• Minimum 10 years of hands‑on planning and scheduling experience on large‑scale civil and building projects.
• Strong understanding of construction industry practices, standards, and LTA programme requirements.
• Highly motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
• Knowledge of 4D BIM workflows (preferred).
