Assistant Producer, Chinese Entertainment Productions

About the role

The Assistant Producer will support the Producer and production team in delivering a high‑quality variety programme for Chinese‑language entertainment. The role covers the full production cycle, from pre‑production planning through on‑site execution to post‑production support, ensuring resources, talents and logistics are coordinated efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare meeting materials such as line‑ups, rundowns, location surveys, schedule paperwork and camera scripts.
• Requisition and ensure availability of props and costumes for filming.
• Manage talents and crew on studio sets and location shoots, including crowd control.
• Arrange transport, props and other logistical needs.
• Prepare production reports and maintain continuity of costumes and props.
• Follow up on editing tasks, including transfer, logging, dialogue dubbing and transcription.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree graduate with at least 2 years of relevant media experience.
• Ability and willingness to work irregular hours as required by production schedules.
• Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking Chinese to draft documents and liaise with Chinese‑speaking clients, stakeholders and vendors.
