About the role

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the outlet’s daily operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and profitability. This middle‑management position oversees staff, maintains product quality, and upholds high customer‑service standards in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.

Key responsibilities

Manage overall shift operations and ensure the restaurant runs efficiently.
Drive outlet profitability through cost control, staff productivity, and promotion execution.
Lead, motivate, and develop staff to meet sales targets and deliver excellent customer experiences.
Oversee recruitment, training, retention, and scheduling of restaurant personnel.
Conduct pre‑service meetings, evaluate procedures, and suggest operational improvements.
Enforce hygiene standards and maintain cleanliness throughout the outlet.
Prepare and submit reports, schedules, and other documentation to the Operations Manager and HQ.
Handle reservations and table assignments to balance workload while respecting customer preferences.
