Assistant Sales Manager

About the role

The Assistant Sales Manager will drive revenue growth for a luxury hotel by generating new corporate FIT and group business, while nurturing existing client relationships. This role combines proactive sales outreach, marketing activities, and close collaboration with internal departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new corporate FIT and group accounts through direct sales, telemarketing, site visits and participation in industry events.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts, ensuring repeat business and upselling across all hotel facilities.
• Conduct a minimum of 20 sales activities per week, including calls, entertainment, and site inspections.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to meet guest requirements and achieve individual and room sales targets.
• Develop quarterly action plans with the Director of Sales & Marketing to address account needs and monitor competitor activity.
• Organise quarterly client‑engagement activities and promote teamwork across the hotel.

Required profile

• Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in room sales for a luxury hotel.
• Strong selling skills and solid understanding of sales processes.
