Associate Director of Luxury Travel

About the role

The Associate Director of Luxury Travel will lead revenue growth for a luxury hotel by developing and managing consortia, corporate, and wholesale partnerships. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, this senior professional will shape the hotel’s sales strategy within the luxury travel and corporate segments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute strategic sales plans for luxury consortia programs, maintaining relationships with travel advisors, consortium leaders, and agency partners.
• Conduct sales calls, presentations, networking events, and familiarisation trips to generate awareness and bookings.
• Monitor consortia performance, negotiate partnership agreements, and implement action plans to maximise revenue.
• Identify, solicit, and secure new corporate accounts, manage an assigned portfolio of local, regional, and international clients, and lead contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management to optimise pricing, drive transient, group, and extended‑stay business, and achieve room‑night and market‑share targets.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in luxury hotel or hospitality sales.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
