Audit Assistant

About the role

Join the Valaston audit team at DM Financial and gain hands‑on experience supporting high‑quality audit engagements from start to finish. You will work closely with senior auditors on live projects for investment funds and asset‑management companies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist audit teams in performing fieldwork, preparing working papers and maintaining supporting documentation.
• Participate in risk‑assessment and internal‑control evaluation processes.
• Gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients, focusing on alternative investment funds, fund‑management companies and investment holding entities.
• Collaborate with experienced audit professionals in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
• Develop an understanding of financial‑reporting standards, audit methodologies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma from a local polytechnic in Accountancy, Finance, Banking & Finance or a related field.
• Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of work experience; audit background not required.
• Genuine interest in a career in audit and finance with intention to pursue ACCA, Singapore CA Q or equivalent.
• Meticulous, organised and comfortable working with numbers and detail.
• Team player with a positive, can‑do attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
