Audit Associate / Senior – Statutory & Compliance Audits

About the role

We are seeking an Audit Associate/Senior to support statutory and compliance audits for private companies, limited companies and non‑profit organisations. The role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in financial reporting and audit standards while delivering high‑quality audit procedures. You will collaborate closely with senior auditors and clients to ensure audit objectives are met efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in statutory audits of private, limited and non‑profit entities.
• Support performance of compliance audits.
• Execute high‑quality audit procedures and test of controls.
• Prepare audit documentation and workpapers.
• Learn and apply relevant financial reporting and audit standards.
• Participate in audit planning and walkthrough testing.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to senior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, post‑graduate diploma or professional degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Professional qualification such as B.Acc, ACCA, ICAEW, CPA or similar.
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain client relationships.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Capacity to handle multiple engagements and work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards.
