Back End Developer – Python, AWS & Terraform

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Back End Developer to design, build, and maintain a Python‑based platform that processes IFC files and powers AI‑driven building model checks. You will work closely with our AI and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, scalable services on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python backend services that ingest, validate, and process IFC files.
• Create AI‑powered pipelines for automated 3D building model verification, including code review and refactoring of AI‑generated scripts.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and other IaC tools.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to ensure rapid, safe delivery.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate BIM concepts and computational geometry algorithms.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Python and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with AI‑powered development pipelines.
• Experience with AWS services and Infrastructure as Code tools, especially Terraform.
• Understanding of DevOps best practices and CI/CD pipeline construction on platforms like GitLab.
• Willingness to learn or existing knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards and IFC formats.
