Business Development Manager – Digital Economy Solutions

About the role

Sunrate is seeking a high‑performing Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth across the global digital assets economy. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to onboarding, and work with senior decision‑makers in fast‑growing digital, e‑commerce, advertising, and B2B trade sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and acquire new business clients across global markets, focusing on commercial card issuance and integrated treasury solutions.
• Develop expertise in verticals such as digital assets, e‑commerce, advertising, and cross‑border B2B trade.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline from lead generation through qualification, negotiation, contracting and onboarding.
• Establish trusted relationships with key decision‑makers, understand their payment and treasury needs, and position Sunrate’s solutions accordingly.
• Drive the complete sales cycle, including solution pitching, commercial negotiation and contract execution.
• Collaborate with internal Product, Compliance, Operations and Solutions teams to tailor offerings and ensure smooth onboarding.
• Monitor market trends, industry developments and competitive dynamics to uncover new opportunities.

Required profile

• 3+ years of proven B2B sales or business development experience in a client‑facing commercial role.
• Strong knowledge of at least one of the following areas: virtual cards, commercial card payout, digital assets, e‑commerce, advertising or cross‑border trade.
• Demonstrated ability to engage senior executives and close complex payment and treasury solutions.
