Buyer Trainee – Attach & Train Program

About the role

Roche is looking for a motivated Buyer Trainee to join its Attach & Train program. You will support the end‑to‑end Source‑to‑Pay process for MRO and indirect procurement categories, gaining hands‑on experience in a global healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full Source‑to‑Pay cycle for assigned MRO/Indirect categories, ensuring uninterrupted supply.
• Negotiate strategic pricing and contractual terms with suppliers.
• Execute operational sourcing activities in line with Roche Global Procurement procedures and the RSTO Third Party Spend Policy.
• Create and maintain procurement master data, such as PIR contracts and source lists, within the SAP system.
• Support compliance with regulatory, cGMP and internal policy requirements.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or final‑year student with an interest in procurement or supply chain.
• Analytical mindset with strong numerical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across functions.
• Familiarity with basic procurement concepts and regulatory environments.

Required skills

• SAP (procurement module)
