C++ Low‑Latency Trading Systems Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a C++ Low‑Latency Trading Systems Engineer to join a fast‑growing fintech company building institutional‑grade infrastructure for digital‑asset derivatives. The role focuses on developing and optimizing high‑frequency trading modules that handle market data, order management, execution, risk and position management.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑frequency trading systems and core modules in C++.
• Optimize latency‑critical paths such as order placement, cancellation, execution reports and market‑data processing.
• Improve system performance across latency, throughput, CPU, memory, lock contention, network I/O and concurrency.
• Analyse bottlenecks using profiling, benchmarking, logs and production metrics.
• Implement multithreading, async I/O, efficient memory allocation, data structures, messaging queues and event‑driven architectures.
• Process real‑time market, order‑book and trade data and maintain exchange API connectivity.
• Build monitoring tools for latency, throughput, connectivity, order status, PnL, positions and risk.
• Troubleshoot trading, system, network and data anomalies and continuously improve architecture and code quality.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on C++ development experience with solid systems programming skills.
• Deep understanding of Linux development, operating systems, networking, concurrency and memory management.
• Proven experience building low‑latency, high‑concurrency or real‑time systems.
• Ability to use profiling, benchmarking and monitoring tools to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and ownership in a fast‑paced environment.
