Chinese Language Teacher

About the role

Hua Cheng Education Centre is seeking a full‑time Chinese Language Teacher to join its on‑site team in Singapore. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Chinese language lessons, integrate Chinese literature into the curriculum, and support students in achieving academic excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Chinese language lessons for various age groups.
• Incorporate Chinese literature and cultural content into teaching materials.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to continuously improve curriculum design.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Chinese language teaching and education.
• Ability to develop effective curriculum or lesson plans.
• Strong teaching skills with the capacity to engage students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to student academic success.
• Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language, Education, or a related field.
• Willingness to work weekday evenings and weekends.
