Cloud Engineer

About the role

NCS is seeking a hands‑on Cloud Engineer to design, implement, operate and troubleshoot network infrastructure within AWS environments. You will be the first point of contact for network‑related incidents, working closely with Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, DevOps and Application teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain secure, highly available AWS network architectures.
• Manage and troubleshoot Amazon VPC, Security Groups, NACLs, Route Tables, NAT gateways and related components.
• Configure and support AWS Transit Gateway, VPC Peering, VPC Endpoints, Site‑to‑Site VPN and Direct Connect.
• Operate Application Load Balancer, Network Load Balancer and Amazon Route 53.
• Implement AWS security services such as WAF, Network Firewall and Shield Advanced.
• Monitor network traffic using VPC Flow Logs, CloudWatch, Wireshark and other diagnostic tools.
• Perform root‑cause analysis for connectivity, routing, DNS, VPN and performance issues and drive preventive actions.
• Collaborate on cloud migrations, network transformations and infrastructure improvement projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in network engineering, cloud networking or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities with a focus on AWS networking and security.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
