Commercial Manager, Southeast Asia

About the role

Abcam is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead its Southeast Asia business. The role focuses on growing revenue and brand awareness through channel partner management, while also supporting direct customers and key opinion leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual business plan for Southeast Asia to achieve growth targets.
• Drive direct market and channel partner strategies, expanding the go‑to‑market model across the region.
• Monitor distributor performance against KPIs, analyse sales data and provide actionable insights.
• Engage end customers and KOLs to generate product awareness and demand.
• Provide training and compliance support to distributor sales teams, ensuring brand consistency and adherence to company policies.

Required profile

• MSc or Ph.D. in Biology or a related scientific field.
• Deep understanding of Southeast Asian market dynamics, regulations and channel partner networks.
• Proven ability to grow revenue and differentiate competitively through channel partners.
• Strong customer‑orientation across scientific, decision‑making and procurement levels.
