Construction Director – PMC

About the role

The Construction Director will act as the senior field delivery executive for the Project Management Consultant (PMC), providing independent oversight of all onshore, marine and subsea construction activities for solar PV, battery energy storage, HVAC transmission, substations and the Indonesia‑Singapore subsea interconnector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all PMC construction activities across renewable generation, energy storage, transmission and subsea cable workstreams.
• Establish and enforce construction governance, standards, procedures and reporting mechanisms.
• Provide assurance, performance management and leadership for multiple EPC/EPCI contractors, including major Chinese contractors and equipment suppliers.
• Coordinate planning, interface management, construction readiness, quality assurance and commissioning preparation.
• Protect the Owner’s interests while ensuring safe, efficient execution and successful energisation.

Required profile

• Senior construction leader with extensive experience overseeing large‑scale renewable and subsea projects.
• Proven ability to act independently on behalf of an Owner through a PMC appointment.
• Strong track record in managing multiple international EPC/EPCI contractors.
• Experience with solar PV, BESS, transmission, substations and subsea interconnector projects.
