Corporate Secretary – Governance & Board Support

About the role

Axiom is seeking a Corporate Secretary to strengthen corporate governance and board support for a Singapore‑licensed financial institution. The role ensures compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements while advising business units on governance matters.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a robust corporate governance framework, including authority delegation.
• Prepare and file statutory and regulatory documents under the Companies Act and MAS Notices 106, 124, 125, etc.
• Draft board resolutions, approval memos, and maintain accurate records of all governance actions.
• Advise business units on internal approval processes, statutory requirements, and contractual governance.
• Coordinate regular financial reporting and ensure timely compliance with regulatory deadlines.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of corporate governance and Singapore regulatory standards for Tier 1 financial institutions.
• Prior in‑house experience at a major financial institution or insurance company in Singapore is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to manage statutory filings and board documentation accurately.
• Excellent analytical and advisory skills for governance‑related issues.
