Credit Officer / Specialist (Temporary)

About the role

The Credit Officer / Specialist will join YTL PowerSeraya’s finance team in Singapore on a temporary basis. You will be responsible for managing arrears, ensuring compliance with credit policies, and supporting the digital transformation of credit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage arrears and collateral in line with credit policies, monitoring and reporting credit positions to limit financial exposure.
• Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders on collections, payment set‑up, dispute resolution and high‑risk accounts.
• Prepare ageing reports, financial health assessments and provision calculations to support management decisions.
• Identify policy exceptions and ensure ageing and bad‑debt levels remain within acceptable thresholds.
• Drive process optimisation and digitalisation by mapping current workflows, documenting gaps and supporting system enhancement projects.
• Develop user requirements, participate in user‑acceptance testing and assist with the rollout of new credit‑related products and enhancements.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Relevant experience in credit, arrears management, collections or financial risk monitoring.
• Strong analytical ability to assess customer financial health and prepare accurate reports.
• Good communication skills for interaction with customers and cross‑functional teams.
