Customer Support Specialist

About the role

PitchBook is seeking a Customer Support Specialist (Tier 1) to provide real‑time assistance to existing clients through phone, email, and chat. You will be the first point of contact, helping customers resolve issues while contributing insights that drive product improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via chat, phone, and email.
• Achieve quarterly contact volume and quality targets.
• Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, to ensure smooth issue resolution.
• Collaborate with fellow support specialists to address complex questions.
• Document each interaction in Salesforce for future reference and product feedback.
• Partner with global teams to maintain support coverage during required business hours.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role.
• Client‑first attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑changing, collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce for tracking and reporting.
