Cyber Security Consultant – Singapore

About the role

We are seeking a motivated, client‑focused Cyber Security Consultant (or Senior Consultant) to deliver advisory, risk, governance and compliance services to organisations across Singapore and the wider SEA region. The role involves identifying cyber risks, assessing security controls, shaping governance frameworks and enhancing overall cyber resilience while working closely with senior client stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cyber risk and maturity assessments using frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001 and CIS Controls.
• Conduct gap analyses, third‑party risk reviews, security due‑diligence and incident‑response readiness assessments.
• Support the design of security strategies, road‑maps and improvement plans, and recommend practical remediation actions.
• Engage with client stakeholders through interviews, workshops and assessment sessions; document findings and present recommendations.
• Assist project managers and engagement leads in delivering comprehensive cybersecurity programmes.
• Contribute to practice development by maintaining knowledge assets, supporting proposal writing and staying up‑to‑date with emerging threats and regulations.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT risk or cyber consulting.
• Proven track record delivering security assessments and advisory engagements for enterprise‑level clients.
• Strong understanding of information security principles, risk management and control frameworks.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within project teams.
