Cybersecurity Executive

About the role

We are seeking a technically strong Cybersecurity Executive to enhance our client’s security posture across both IT and OT environments. The role combines hands‑on implementation, operational oversight, and strategic improvement of cybersecurity controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation and operation of security controls across network, endpoint, and cloud platforms.
• Design and deploy security architecture improvements such as network segmentation and system hardening.
• Evaluate, select, and integrate cybersecurity tools to boost protection capabilities.
• Drive vulnerability management, patching, and remediation processes.
• Raise overall security hygiene by improving technical standards and controls.
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts, incidents, and anomalies.
• Collaborate with external vendors and Managed Security Service Providers to enhance monitoring effectiveness.
• Identify and automate cybersecurity workflows using scripting or AI techniques.
• Coordinate cybersecurity projects with internal stakeholders and vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3–6 years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity engineering, operations, incident response, penetration testing/red teaming, or system/network administration.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and independent work capabilities.
• Excellent project management, organisational, and communication skills.
• Preference for candidates with a technical, hands‑on background rather than pure consulting.
