Cybersecurity Remediation Engineer

About the role

The Cybersecurity Remediation Engineer will join the CISO Remediation Team to drive technical resolution of security risks across the enterprise. You will work at the intersection of security operations, engineering, and architecture, helping teams recover from incidents, remediate vulnerabilities, and implement durable security improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Support containment, recovery, and post‑incident remediation by identifying root causes and applying technical fixes.
• Partner with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams to embed security into existing practices.
• Conduct security and risk assessments, including threat modeling and targeted technical reviews.
• Create technical documentation that outlines remediation guidance and best practices.
• Develop or implement tools for detection, prevention, and analysis of security threats.

Required profile

• 4‑8 years of experience in security engineering or related fields such as networking, cloud, or application development.
• Experience supporting incident response or post‑incident remediation.
• Ability to work in high‑pressure environments and communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strong expertise in one or two technical domains with working knowledge of adjacent areas.
