Data Architect – Financial Services Senior Consultant

About the role

EY is seeking a Data Architect with deep financial‑services experience to join its Technology Consulting practice. You will work within multi‑disciplinary, global teams to help major banks, insurers and asset managers modernise their data landscapes and align technology with strategic business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise‑wide Master Data Management (MDM) solutions for financial‑services clients.
• Lead end‑to‑end MDM projects, covering business process design, data modelling, governance and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with finance, risk and operations teams to translate functional requirements into robust data architectures.
• Provide advisory services on data‑driven transformation, performance management and regulatory change.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior client stakeholders using clear visualisations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial services with a focus on data technology.
• Proven track record as an MDM architect, leading large‑scale implementations through the full SDLC.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret market and economic impacts on clients.
