Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions. You will work across multiple data sources, ensuring high data quality and availability for analytics and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Manage data ingestion from diverse sources and maintain data lake/warehouse infrastructure.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security through governance practices.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and application teams to meet business needs.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve pipeline performance issues.
• Document data architectures, processes, and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in data engineering or similar data‑focused roles.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
