DevOps Engineer – Cloud (12‑Month Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Singapore on a 12‑month contract, with the possibility of extension. You will work closely with development and technology teams to design, automate, and optimise our CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain CI/CD platforms such as GitLab and GitHub Actions.
• Design, automate and optimise CI/CD pipelines using custom runners, focusing on quality, security and reliability.
• Design and support deployment models across on‑premises and AWS cloud environments.
• Implement and manage containerised environments using Docker, Kubernetes/EKS and related technologies.
• Support application teams with cloud migration and modernisation strategies.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation and CDK.
• Implement configuration management, monitoring and observability solutions such as Datadog and Helm.
• Provide hands‑on support across AWS compute, networking, storage and security services.
• Promote DevOps best practices, automation, security and continuous improvement across engineering teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 4 years in DevOps roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with CI/CD platforms, especially GitLab or GitHub Actions.
• Extensive experience with AWS services across compute, networking, storage and security.
• Proven expertise in Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, CDK, Helm and observability tools such as Datadog.
• Knowledge of on‑premises and cloud‑native deployment models, cloud migration and application modernisation.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes and DevOps adoption.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
