DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to design, deploy and support cloud‑native applications and infrastructure on AWS. The role involves driving automation, ensuring security, and maintaining high reliability across our platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and related tools.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform, Ansible or equivalent.
• Containerise applications with Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring, logging and observability solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Helm, ArgoCD).
• Apply DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability management, system hardening and remediation.
• Collaborate with security teams to integrate cloud‑native security tools such as HashiCorp Vault, Tenable and AWS security services.
• Provide troubleshooting, incident response and operational support in regulated or government environments.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, TDD and DevSecOps principles.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services, especially IAM, networking, monitoring and container platforms.
• Experience working in regulated or government settings is preferred.
• Excellent problem‑solving and incident‑response capabilities.
