DevOps Engineer

About the role

BITBIT is looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure that powers its digital‑asset financial services. You will work closely with development teams to streamline delivery pipelines and ensure high availability of critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure across the full lifecycle, including CMDB, observability, monitoring, and alerting.
• Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters, automate node lifecycle and cost optimization using tools such as Karpenter.
• Define infrastructure as code and drive GitOps‑based CI/CD processes to make every change reviewable, repeatable, and auditable.
• Partner with developers to remove friction, embedding AI‑assisted and vibe‑development practices into day‑to‑day delivery.

Required profile

• Strong familiarity with Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Hands‑on experience with container technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm).
• Experience building infrastructure as code with Terraform and automating cluster scaling with Karpenter.
• Proficiency in GitOps workflows using GitLab CI and ArgoCD.
• Practical knowledge of core AWS services (VPC, AMI, EKS, EC2, S3, CloudFront).
• Programming experience in Golang or Python, working with middle‑wares such as MySQL and Redis.
