DevOps Engineer

About the role

OCBC is looking for a proactive DevOps Engineer to own the administration and lifecycle management of its core DevOps toolchain. You will ensure that platforms such as Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Nexus, Jenkins, Ansible Automation Platform and SonarQube remain reliable, secure and aligned with the bank’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain DevOps tools including Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Nexus, Jenkins, Ansible Automation Platform and SonarQube.
• Ensure high availability, performance and reliability of all platforms.
• Plan and execute regular upgrades, patches and version migrations to keep tools non‑vulnerable.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with internal policies and industry security standards.
• Develop automation scripts for tool configuration, deployment and monitoring.
• Optimize workflows to improve developer productivity and operational efficiency.
• Set up proactive monitoring, alerting and troubleshooting processes for tool health.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and conduct training sessions for development and operations teams.

Required profile

• Strong experience managing the full lifecycle of DevOps tools in an enterprise environment.
• Demonstrated ability to keep tools up‑to‑date, secure and compliant.
• Proactive attitude with solid problem‑solving skills.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
