Digital Engineer (Construction Tech)

About the role

We are looking for a Digital Engineer to support our construction projects by developing digital tools, dashboards and automation scripts. The role bridges engineering teams and digital platforms, ensuring data is clean, accessible and actionable. You will work closely with project engineers and BIM coordinators to translate operational needs into practical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing company-wide digitalisation initiatives and maintain digital records.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI and SQL queries.
• Write and troubleshoot automation scripts in Python or C# and support workflow automation with Power Automate, Dynamo and APIs.
• Extract and organise project data from BIM models and support cloud platform/ACC/shared‑drive administration.
• Collaborate with project engineers to understand workflows, test digital applications and gather user feedback.
• Research emerging construction‑tech tools and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Recognised degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics or related field.
• Up to 2 years of experience in software development, data analytics or digital solutions; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Interest in construction technology; experience with BIM or CDE platforms is a plus.

Required skills

• Python or C# programming.
• Git version control.
• SQL querying.
• Microsoft Excel.
• Power BI or similar visualisation tools.
• Exposure to Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Revit and Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Basic knowledge of Dynamo, Power Automate and APIs.
