Digital Native Hunter Account Executive

About the role

Databricks is looking for a Digital Native Hunter Account Executive to drive new‑logo sales and grow existing accounts across the ASEAN market. You will work with digital‑native and startup customers, guiding them through the sales cycle and delivering value with the Databricks Intelligence Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Assess accounts and develop strategies to engage all buying centers.
• Use a solution‑based approach to create value for new‑logo accounts.
• Switch between technical and business personas to connect challenges to business value.
• Identify quick‑win opportunities while managing longer, complex sales cycles.
• Track customer details, projects, timelines and forecasts in Salesforce.
• Map whitespace opportunities across the territory and prioritize viable use cases.
• Orchestrate cross‑functional teams to maximize ecosystem impact.
• Deliver technical and business results using the Databricks platform.

Required profile

• 3+ years of sales experience with digital‑native/startup accounts in Singapore/SEA, consistently exceeding quota.
• Proven success in consumption‑based, usage‑based SaaS sales and co‑selling with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Strong closing ability and experience navigating fast‑growing organizations.
• Background in cloud software, open‑source technology, or Data & AI solutions.
• Experience building business cases and influencing C‑level executives.
• Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, territory planning and value‑based selling.
• Ability to clearly articulate complex cloud technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
