Director of Sales – Corporate & Cluster

About the role

The Director of Sales (Corporate - Cluster Sales) will lead the sales strategy for a portfolio of hotels in Singapore, including AMOY Hotel Singapore, Oasia Hotel Downtown, The Clan Hotel Singapore and Oasia Hotel Novena. This role is responsible for driving corporate and group sales, managing the sales team, and ensuring revenue targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and guide the sales team’s strategy and targets, ensuring goals are met within budget constraints.
• Monitor sales performance, adjust activities and priorities, and mentor the team to achieve objectives.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships before, during, and after conferences to encourage repeat business.
• Participate in creating marketing plans, sales action plans, profit plans, advertising budgets, and marketing audits.
• Track forecasts for all group and FIT segments, identifying periods that need increased sales focus.
• Monitor group bookings against room availability and customer spending potential to maximize revenue.
• Attend trade shows, travel functions, and major business events as directed by the Area Director of Sales & Marketing.
• Foster effective communication and teamwork with other departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality Management.
• 6–8 years of hospitality sales experience.
• Proven leadership in managing sales teams.
• Strategic sales planning and execution expertise.
• Revenue management and forecasting skills.
• Strong negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Knowledge of hospitality CRM systems such as Opera and Delphi.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
