Director of Sales (Hospitality)

About the role

The Director of Sales will lead all sales activities for METT Singapore, a luxury lifestyle hotel within the Sunset Hospitality Group portfolio. The role focuses on driving room revenue across luxury leisure, group, long‑stay and travel‑trade segments while building strong relationships with key accounts and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities, conducting at least 20 sales activities per week including calls, site visits and meetings.
• Develop and execute comprehensive room‑sales plans, setting clear revenue targets by market segment and sales channel.
• Collaborate closely with Revenue Management to optimise occupancy, ADR and RevPAR.
• Maintain and grow relationships with corporate accounts, travel agencies, DMCs, event organisers and industry partners.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer behaviour to create actionable commercial strategies.
• Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events and sales missions to generate incremental room revenue.

Required profile

• BA degree in Business or related field from a reputable university.
• Minimum 8 years of senior hotel sales experience, preferably in a 5‑star property.
• Proven track record in luxury, OTA, leisure or group sales segments.
• Demonstrated success managing OTA portals, travel‑trade partners and group travel business.
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation abilities.
