Director, Scientific & Regulatory Affairs – Base & Balanced Markets

About the role

The Director of Scientific and Regulatory Affairs (SRA) leads the scientific and regulatory agenda across Indonesia and the Base & Balanced markets. This senior position combines hands‑on regulatory execution with multi‑market leadership, supporting Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, Brunei, Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end SRA execution for Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar and Brunei, including compliance, formula and ingredient assessment, product registrations, labeling, claims, packaging and food‑contact material approvals.
• Provide strategic oversight and scientific‑regulatory support for Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia through a dedicated team.
• Lead regulatory advocacy to remove barriers, enable innovation and align with the “Total Beverage” strategy.
• Engage with regulatory authorities, industry bodies and external stakeholders to anticipate and mitigate scientific and regulatory risks.
• Partner with Marketing, Legal, R&D, TI&SC and bottling partners to translate requirements into practical business solutions.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in scientific and regulatory affairs within the food‑beverage sector.
• Strong ability to operate independently across markets with varying regulatory maturity.
• Excellent stakeholder management and advocacy skills.
