Director, Transaction Banking FI Sales

About the role

As Director, Transaction Banking FI Sales you will be responsible for originating and growing transaction banking business with a portfolio of financial institution clients. You will leverage ANZ’s global network to deliver payments, cash management, liquidity and trade finance solutions that create sustainable value.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand relationships with banks, diversified financials, funds, insurers and brokers/dealers.
• Identify and execute revenue opportunities across Payments & Cash Management, Liquidity Management and Trade Finance.
• Develop client acquisition and portfolio growth strategies and deliver tailored solutions.
• Lead RFI/RFP responses, client presentations and product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with relationship managers, product teams and regional stakeholders to ensure exceptional outcomes.
• Maintain strong risk and compliance discipline, escalating issues as needed.
• Coach and mentor less‑experienced team members.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling transaction banking products to financial institutions.
• Strong understanding of payments, cash management, liquidity and trade finance.
• Ability to build and sustain strategic client relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Commitment to risk and compliance standards.
