Document Controller – Aconex Software

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Document Controller with strong experience in Aconex to join a leading A1 main contractor handling civil and infrastructure projects across Singapore and overseas. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate project documentation, ensuring version control, and supporting the project team in delivering high‑quality deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control all project documents and drawings, maintaining proper version control and distribution.
• Maintain document registers, transmittals, RFIs, master drawing lists, and submission logs.
• Ensure timely submission and tracking of documents to clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Maintain both electronic (EDMS) and hard‑copy documentation for site and project teams.
• Coordinate document flow with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Support compliance with document control procedures and standards.
• Assist in maintaining calibration records and project documentation databases as required.

Required profile

• Minimum ITE/Diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Document Controller in construction projects (building preferred).
• Familiarity with document control systems, especially Aconex.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation processes and workflows.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage high‑volume documentation.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
