Electroplating Technician

About the role

The Electroplating Technician will join RTX’s aerospace and defense manufacturing team in Singapore, operating and maintaining specialised plating equipment to support high‑precision component production. You will work in a warm environment, following strict safety and quality standards while contributing to the company’s mission of delivering advanced aerospace solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain electroplating equipment according to Job Instruction Sheets.
• Calibrate and use measuring equipment, gauges and fixtures for accurate inspection checks.
• Interpret job instructions and ensure compliance with EH&S and CORE requirements.
• Perform daily housekeeping and weekly total productive maintenance.
• Report any machine or tooling issues that could affect product quality or safety.
• Raise maintenance tickets when equipment is down and use full PPE in the warm work environment.
• Assist the supervisor with additional tasks as required.

Required profile

• Minimum NITEC in Precision Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing plant, preferably in a special process environment.
• Basic command of written and spoken English.
• Physically and mentally fit, able to work rotating shifts and tolerate high‑temperature conditions.

Required skills

• Full personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance.
